The best holidays start with us

APTG members are professionally qualified Blue Badge Guides and it shows in all our work.

We are by turn, historian, archaeologist, art expert, actor, entertainer, raconteur and, by the end of your holiday, a close friend too.

Our members are signatories to a professional code of conduct committing them to the highest standards of courtesy towards clients, tour operators and drivers alike.

We can talk your language

When touring by coach, make sure you have a Blue Badge Guide.

Our members work in a total of some 40 languages, with the main European languages well represented, together with some that are less well known.

Whatever your needs -
we can meet them

A visitor to Britain for the first time will have different needs from those on their second or third holiday with us.

Whether it is a general interest tour of one day or one week, confined to London or around the UK, we can make it special.

For those who have enjoyed their first visit and have come back for more, our breadth and depth of knowledge guarantees that the next holiday will complement the previous one.

Areas of special interest ranging from prehistoric Stonehenge to ultra-modern Docklands, together with cathedrals, museums and art galleries all require expert guides to make a holiday memorable. We have them.

Some of the best destinations
can't be reached by coach

Many of our members are able to drive you around town or country in their cars, or your own if you prefer, enabling you to explore some of those smaller, narrower by-ways with a chance to stay in a picturesque wayside Inn.

The freedom from a fixed itinerary, allowing you to set your own pace, is often the best way for a family or small group to get the most out of their all-too-short stay.

There are some places not even a car can reach. Your Blue Badge Guide can show you the Houses of Parliament, the Albert Memorial or take you around the alleyways of the East End, or the Mews of Belgravia, or on a guided walk linked to a theme... be it ghosts, theatre or literature.
